Necrotik Fissure — Was
Here’s seventy-eight minutes’ worth of barrenly searing ‘n’ crudely whizzing HNW from this Hungarian project. Necrotik Fissure has been active since the early 2010’s- been both prolific and unflinchingly extreme in its releasing of the walled noise form.
This is a digital-only release put out by the project itself. For the cover artwork, we get a very low-light/ murky picture of what looks like the inside of a crate/similar.
The single track is a rapid and totally engulfing affair. Its thick weave brings together a constantly rolling ‘n’ rearing bass tone, a whizzing grind, with a few cluttering/ baying subtones. To me, it brought to mind racing along a track- in an ageing car, as the doors rattled, plexiglass windscreen bows/ creaks, engine under bonnet roars, and twin exhaust sears.
Was is another longform, searing, and totally unforgiving example of the wall noise form from Necrotik Fissure.
