[Basement Corner Emission — 2025]
Reviewed 13 January 2025by Roger Batty

It must be a good two -to- three years since I’d last heard of/ reviewed anything by this  Everett, Washington based walled noise project. Chaotic VTuber is a forty-six-minute slab of dense searing ‘n’ rushing HNW, which totally and completely engulfs you in its  raging mass.

This digital release appears on  Portland Oregon’s Basement Corner Emissions. With coloured-in and warped Windows computer screen artwork taking in the silhouetted   VTuber in its middle. The release can be found here

The single/ self-titled track rolls in at dead on the forty six minute mark.  The ‘wall’ is  a rapid mix of mid toned roll ‘n’ churn, set dark hole billowing, and rattling static judder. It certainly is a very monotone/ black ‘n’ white slice of HNW. I guess imagery wise I’m getting train carriage constantly racing through a seemingly endless inky black dark night- with a grey un-changing landscape rushing by.

If you’re in the mood for no-nonsense walling- which is both very dense, rapid, and total overwhelming,  then Chaotic VTuber  will be for you.
