Kadaveric Kommando — Teeth

Teeth is just over an hour’s worth of bubbling ‘n’ flowing laver/steam hissing walled noise from Brazil’s Kadaveric Kommando. Been the sonic equivalent of walking around the top of an active volcano.

This is a digital-only release on Portland’s Basement Corner Emissions. For cover art, we have an old illustration of a long haired/jacketed man pulling teeth from another man.

The single track featured here comes in at the one-hour and fourteen-second mark. What we have here is a decidedly full and dense take of the wall form- which, at points, sounds like it is almost hissing and sputtering out of your speakers. The wall blends elements of tight churning hiss, thick bubbling churn, and distant rumble.

The ‘wall’ retains its firm and fixed presence throughout. There certainly is a highly intense yet moorish quality about the whole thing- which keeps you locked into its runtime.
