Fabrikation von Konsens(Production of Consent) offers up a very heady, dense and murky collection of lo-fi electronic mood scapes and dark electroinca that weave in elements of bent and cut piano music, aged soundtrack matter and  general effective/ atmospherics noise texture. All to create a series of pieces that feel like they’ve come from some strange and bent nocturnal world just beyond our normal vision.

The projects all the work of German based grim yet compelling mood maker Martin Schilling who’s released in the region of ten or so releases in mainly cdr format over the last few years since 2006. Fabrikation von Konsens is another Cdr release; though it’s very much crying out for a larger release simply because Schilling has managed to create very  deeply atmospheric, unnevering, swirling and original sound worlds with each of the 5 tracks on offer here.  It’s the way he builds and mixers his grainy electronics and noise textures with the aged soundtrack elements that makes this so different and compelling; the two elements seem to bound into this bent and unhinged sonic monster that lumbers and stalks deep into ones psyche to great effect. I won’t go onto detail the tracks layouts as I feel it will rather ruin the highly creative and often goose bump inducing sonic turns of events that unfold with each track; but trust me if you dig bent and unsettling mood setting via lo-fi electronics you’ll really dig this.

Fabrikation von Konsens creates a grim & shifting heady sonic world that I’ve found I've wanted to relive often over the last month or so since it touched down here. To find out more and pick up a copy before the all go drop in here
