“Sharpened Lust” offers up another slice of low-end, walled noise brutality from this  project  of US HNW scene veteran Alex Nowacki (also in HNW projectcs Boar, Centuries Behind The Gate & Phantom Rib).

The CDR comes in a gold spray painted A5 envelope, with  has a stuck on colour photo  copy picture of a blood soaked kitchen knife on it’s front cover. The packaging reminds me rather of some of the releases  put out on Richard Ramirez’s  Deadline Recordings.

The CDR just features a single untitled track that comes in at just over the five minute mark. The 'walls' a  dense ‘n’ crusty bass pummelling mixture of judder bound low-end noise, the pace is mid to slow paced, and the track literal feels like it’s slowly tumbling & drying around you like liquid sonic cerement. The only downside about this great ‘n’ brutal track is it’s over much to quickly at the just over the five minute mark

I’ll have to say this is my favourite release so far by this project, as the tracks just so damn crusty, pummelling & moorish. I just wish it lasted like say half-an-hour plus instead of just five minutes.
