Dominion Of The Predator is a new fifty-minute release from Hana Haruna, aka Portland's Ken Jamison. It takes in two twenty-five-minute ‘walls’ that focus on the denser/ thicker side of the project's sound.

First out of the gate, we get “She Flies With Her Own Rings”. Here find a constant pile-driving low-end, and crunching/ rattling glass tone- with hacking/ running of tank tracks/ hissing subtones. For this track, I’m like Terminator 2 vibes- when the machines have taken over- as they march over our piled high bones and skulls.

The second track is “Sky Burial”. Here, we find a blend of thick chugging/ hacking low end and cluttering hiss- with a distant blend of sound forking, crashing, and light whistling steel. If the first track was the machines marching through piles of bones and skulls, here their ships arch and collide in the thick cloud and ash-heavy sky. And towards the end, I’m sure I’m getting snippets of sounds- some are possible grand yet dark soundtrack elements.

Dominion Of The Predator is another great Hana Haruna release- featuring two perfectly selected and blended mixes of textures, with a great, distinctive/ flow through the story going on here. That’s why this project is one of the greatest in the scene at present day.
