The pair use both their instruments and vocals in common (& often uncommon) manner; with often manic and jarring studio edit to bring the tracks to wonderful off-kilter, highly atmospheric and unhinged life. Making this feel as a whole like a delirious and demented rollercoaster ride which at times comes close to going off the tracks as in roars and dips around through your ears- but also with it’s fair share of calmer and atmospheric moments too.
And though it’s all fairly consistent and rewarding through-out a few of my favourite moments come in the form of : the opening track Ryufoispjekkossd which slides in with a strange ‘n’ oily analogue synth horror atmosphere that decorated with off-centre guitar pickings and weird vocal muttering; before it shoots up in to deranged speed-up carnival avant rock risers. The wonky sped-up rocking chair acoustic strum meets flute dance of Cchjdisoiugpodf. The slowed rain dance rhythm and crystalline harmonic slight oriental meets prog rock guitar rising of the exit track Mkdoiajadih.
A challenging often manic yet highly enjoyable and rewarding collaboration which mangers to balance off kilter-ness with atmospheric and dramatic sonic air; with both parties playing in an accomplished and inventive manner through out the albums life.
