Gluttoness — Smothering Hopes & Crushing Dreams

“Smothering Hopes & Crushing Dreams” offers up a highly rewarding & consistent collection of textural shifting and active HNW  matter from this Fairfax USA based project. Like much of this projects work this album is once more themed and obsessed with BBW(Big Beautiful Women), plumpers or the large lady, the cover artwork features a grainy green tinged film still of a large lady sitting on a mans face.

The CDR offers up seven untitled track in all, and each track last between just under the minute mark to just over the eleven minute mark. Most of the tracks here are built around a base of two or three thick & crush wall textures, to which Gluttoness skilful adds & grades in other layers of textural wall shiftings- these added layers often sudden slide into view & stay for a few minutes at a time, or there more brief and only repeat themselves a few of times. Yet for all the layer shifting taking place with-in the tracks this is still firmly with-in the HNW bracket as the textures & layers are thick set and ultimately very ‘wall’ like in there feeling.  Also all the tracks here are highly memorable, brutally atmospheric & just a little bit sleazy ‘n’ kinky in their feel with Gluttoness adding in a few samples of BBW porn here and there through-out the album.

With out doubt  Gluttoness is one of the most consistent and creative projects in today’s HNW scene, and really with each new release the project seems to get better & better, and “Smothering Hopes & Crushing Dreams” is no exception  to this rule- truly this is a great collection of active & creative HNW.
