Franco Micalizzi — Hold-up Istantanea DI Una Rapina
The 16 tracks on offer are nicely mix between doomy Giallo type sound tracking with female 70’s harmonies, bass, often quite heavy (for the time)guitar, keyboards and flute, with more up-beat and mean brass pumping and funky 70’s police drama fare. To more swirling and sinister flute & synth excise in late 70’s early 80’s creepiness . To (not surprising for the time) more cheesy, camp, over the top & overtly emotional melodic string and keys wondering, soothing work-outs. Totalling near on an hour in all you get an over average running time for a soundtrack too.
So all in all another worthwhile and quality bound release of an old soundtrack from Fin de Siècle media with the only slight criticism been this time around we get no film stills & it’s only four panel digipak which is a pity but I guess they can only get hold of so much material from obscure Films from the 60’s and 70’s.
