Business lady — Torture Footage
Each track here jerks, slams and barges it's way out of ones speakers- all jagged guitar riffing & mumbled to ranted vocals; but often the band throw in haphazard wavering keyboard element, wonky sax honks, or weird sudden vocally harmonising. And that’s what make this so re-playble and enjoyable- you see at first play through each song seems like a pile of jagged often cruel odd angled riffs with US punk rant meets new wave whine on top. But over time the genius of the band is uncovered; the creative and surprising elements added in, the sneering psychotic switching to comic lyrics and the bands madding ear for demented and memorable song-smithery.
A demented & often wonky ride into punk meets new wave odd angled song writing, which over time revels it’s devilish, quirky and tuneful edges. Highly enjoyable when it clicks- but certainly a grower so don’t expect to get it straight away.
