Bördel Noïr — Bouche D'Egout
The release comes in a form of a CDR that features a single 79 minute track of dense, oppressive yet hypnotic walled noise. The ‘walls’ built around a very thick & densely weaved mixture of meaty bass judders, jittering throbs, and scraping crisp static tonalities. To me the track conjures up a mass of animated skeletons trying to crawl & ripping there way of some vast underground crypt- the meaty judder ‘n’ jitters are the bleak subterranean movements of the earth, & the crisp ghoulish tonalities are the masses of bony fingers & limbs that are continual scarping & ripping the soil away.
The CDR comes in simple yet effective glossy black & white paper sleeve that fittingly feature a mass of skull & bones in half darkness. All told this is another very grimly hypnotic slice walled noise from this always rewarding French HNW project.
