[Bored Bear Recordings — 2012]

“Orgasmo Nero” is the 8th in series of twelve monthly three inch CDR releases, which are been put out through-out 2012 by Ireland's Bored Bear Recordings. Each release in this new series offers up a debut release from one of twelve new projects that are been put together by highly influential & respected Texas noise artist Richard Ramirez.

Black Orgasm sees Ramirez Joining forces with fellow  Texas based noise artist Zach Guttowsky(Folter, Glasgow Smile & Black Leather Jesus). The projects sound is dense & pressing HNW with an almost blunt groove about it.

This first release from the project seems to take it’s theme from 1980's  Italian voodoo themed horror/porn black sexploitation movie Orgasmo Nero, which was directed by sleaze merchant Joe D'Amato.

The just over twenty minute track is built around a dense & unrelenting mixture of juddering/low buzzing noise, which is weaved with jittering ‘n’ juddering sub-tones. The ‘wall’ summons up a suitable sleazy air, and one finds themselves easily hypnotized by the dense yet rewarding juddering brutality of the wall. The structure remains fairly fixed & unforgiving for the first ten or so minutes, with just a few subtle sub-tone shifts. At the midway point the ‘wall’ suddenly seems to pick-up pace a little, with the tones getting slightly more raging/ battering….towards it’s end it dies down in it’s rage slightly but it’s still damn brutal / dense.

I very much enjoyed the sleazed & dense 'wall' pounding feel of this track, and I hope the pair decide to do a longer take on their sound in the near future.
