Black Boned AngelEternal Hunger

[Battlecruiser — 2006]
Reviewed 21 October 2006by Roger Batty
Eternal Hunger is the smaller no less grim brother of this year's Bliss & Void Inseprable, running at just over 20 min mark.More a mini trip into all things droney and doom fired, instead of an all out hellish holiday.

As you’d expected all the signature sounds you know and love from Bliss & Void Inseparable are in place; slowly developing doomy riffing, mournful piano pitter patter and horror film synth vibe. Even towards the end of the track almost dips in slowed post rock vibe- before shuffling out toward repeated and sinister bell tones ending. Though this is a very enjoyable slap of doom- it’s doesn’t glint as darkly as this year's full length, some parts seemed a little stretched out and there doesn’t seem the same level of dank atmosphere here. Nevertheless if you enjoyed Bliss & Void Inseprable, you should surely apply for this in blood! Those curious of Black Boned Angel's horror drone charms should pick up the full length first then investigate this later.

It’s packed in a rather puzzling (literal like a piece of a puzzle) and minimal sliver ink on black card cover. It can be order direct from the Battlecruiser imprint of celebrate psi phenomenon here.
