Bachir Gemayel — HNWar
The release inlay follows the same house style of all this series releases with stark, simply yet highly effective black & white cover artwork -featuring just three overlaid black blocks. Also as with all the release in the series we get some HNW themed text, and the text here talks about the track with-in as a sonic display of the fighting & troubles with-in the middle east, comparing it to the sound of bullets flying past you & bombs tearing concert apart.
The track utilizes just misbaha beads & bullet casers as its sound source. And it goes from from: very agitated & dense cracking meshes of tone, intense hacking ‘n’ jittering dwells, taut web’s of juddering mid-ranged static weaved with smaller jitter sub-tones, billowing noise roars a fly with jittering ‘n’ searing tiny noise textures, ect.
The twenty minute play time may seem a little short for what is supposed to be a full length release, but boy does this track fit in a hell of a lot of textural shifts ‘n’ turns, yet it still retains it’s barrage like wall attack. This is well worth a look if you enjoy active, yet persistent violent HNW.
