900Piesek — Breezing Stars

This recording is one of many documenting the brutal yet creative noise scene in Slovakia. It's a limited edition of 30 copies, so by the time I review this it will be quite hard to find (I suppose...)
Anyways the cover has a nice futurist/constructivist design, and the music is about as minimalist as can be. Lots of machine hum and feedback on the first track. The second has lots of garbage-can clatter but then lead into a mid-to-high-tone feedback drone. The clatter and drones carry on for the long track in the center, with lots of varying noises going on. The fourth track is the sound of a winter storm. The last track is called "Hidden Track" but evidently has no sound on it.
900Piesek are a very good up-and-coming noise act that makes me wish to investigate the Slovakia underground scene a bit more. Nice to know bloody civil wars don't kill creative spirits...
