The set comes in an oversized white vinyl box that features outer black ‘n’ picture of a naked man with a leather gag over his mouth, his feet manacled and behind bars. Inside the case sits the DVDR attached to a double sided black & white inlay card that features a blurred picture of the same figure standing up and been whipped. Over the other side of the box we of course have the c20 tape that’s nicel labelled both sides with out of focus black and white picture of cell bars, which of course nicely ties in with the rest of the boxes perverse yet professional look.

Each side of the tape features  just shy of ten minutes worth of highly sleazed and grimly caustic  juddering and jittering harsh noise emissions,which is feed through with the moans, slaps, grunts, pleasured voices and dirty talk of two men having S&M laced gay sex. Through-out both tracks Ramirez nicely builds, batters then recedes  the seared electro noise tones in quite a moody and effective manner. This compliments and highlights the couple’s pained sexual union in a wonderful perverse, yet highly effective manner.  Sometimes he almost fully buries  their sounds ,and at other times he pulls back the noise so it’s just in the background of the sexluised sounds.

Side ones track seems to have more of a jagged and juddering electro noise toned feel to it, while side two is more angered jittering mass of static twith odd blips of electro feed-back drag. Also side twos couples  recording seems a bit more rough and violent too with a lot more pained moaning going on.

The DVDR features a ten minute movie which starts off in colour and  finds us watching a man chatting in French and cooking some food, then when he sits down to eat we realize he has a leather bondage mask on!. Then we move onto very fuzzed-out and fucked with black & white footage of two men dressed in 1970’s  gay leather attire; at first one man licks the others boots and kissers him ect, then the pair get slow undressed and more sexual as the footage gets more corrupted and fucked with. The pair do all kinds of sexual acts to each other which I won’t go into here, but you’ll have to be fairly open minded to watch this -so be warned. Anyway over the top of the footage Ramirez puts another effective layer of thick, shifting and atmospheric noise - it works as quite a surreal and odd counterbalance to the stuff going on the screen and is very effective really.

So if you enjoy Richard’s work when he’s more harsh noise based and focusing in on Gay S&M  lsex ike  some of his solo work & his many release with the Black Leather Jesus project, then this great little release will be up your sleazy street. But if your not open-mind and even vaguely homophobic this is best avoided.
