Vomir - Que le ressac de ta jouissance n’ait lieu qu’au re [Corpse-Grained Series - 2014]Que le ressac de ta jouissance n’ait lieu qu’au reflux de la douleur is a 3inch CDR release from the infamous master of French walled noise Vomir. The release is part of Corpse-Grained Series, which is a new HNW/Static noise label from the highly prolific Paris based walled noise/harsh noise maker Julien Skrobek( of Butch Bag, Static Park, Sadistic Fall, Flesh Clocks,The Killer Came From The Bronx, Ghost, The Sandman Wears A Mask, Ruine). Each of the releases put out on this label come in the form of a 3inc CDR, which appear in a over sized envelope packaging- this features stuck on front & back artwork, inlay card & separate plastic slip sleeve. This release is the third release from the label, and it features a black envelope-on it’s front cover is a faceless humanoid figure dressed in Victorian like suit attacking a man in a greenhouse( I’m not sure where this is from, but it looks like it’s a movie still from some bizarre sci-fi or horror movie b). All told it’s a rather nice looking item that fits in with the better looking end of the underground noise release market. The single ‘wall’ on offer here comes in at the 18.56 mark, and it’s of the rapid ‘n’ crude variety. It’s built around a matt of shaking ‘n’ pummelling roar based static patterning, which is underfed by a continual descending rushing slightly lower toned static texturing. The whole thing has quite a manic & overloaded water type feel to it- like your stuck under several different raging water currents, and they keep battering you down into an almost breath-less state. As one would expect from Vomir’s unflinching take on walled noise- this is a very fixed & unrelenting affair. All in all this is another intense & head-battering slice of walled noise from Vomir- it keeps you brutally hooked through-out, and I rather like the crude ‘n’ raging water feel of the whole thing. The release came in a edition of 30 copies- so might you might get lucky & still manage to hook one!. Roger Batty
